Introvert friendly, down to earth, experienced wedding photographer from York, UK.

The Happy Otter name came about because I first got into photography to capture a shot of the otters living on the river Ouse near my home. Otters are shy and elusive, but if you are lucky enough to observe them naturally, they are so playful and fun.

Over ten years later, I’m a wedding photographer… and I’ve realised that lots of my clients are similar to otters.

I specialise in wedding photography for people who don’t like to pose, and really just want to have a great time.

Even otters can have beautiful wedding photos.
