Rustic Wedding Ideas

We love a beautiful and simple rustic wedding at Brides Keeping it Real. With so many quirky wedding venues around –  tipis, barns, village halls and even breweries, rustic wedding ideas are in high demand.

Here is some inspiration if you’re looking for rustic wedding details….

Flowers

Lots of greenery, wild blooms and nothing too fancy – rustic is all about getting back to basics. You could even do your own flowers, get your bridal party involved and have fun with it!

Tables

The main thing to remember is to have fun with this theme. Jam jars and wooden crates make great vases, candles everywhere and place cards can be whatever you want them to be. What about giving guests wooden names as a favour, or using corks to display names?

Food

As long as it’s tasty, it doesn’t need to be fancy! Some couples serve pizza from their favourite takeaway straight from the box, other have a food truck serve BBQ to their hungry guests. The key here is not to have a formal sit down wedding breakfast but rather to serve delicious, fun finger food.

Dress

A rustic wedding dress can be a floaty boho number or a ¾ length tea dress. There are simple yet beautiful dresses available for every budget, from high street shops like Monsoon and John Lewis to high end wedding dress designers like Anna Campbell and Daughters of Simone. A beautiful headpiece can finish the look of to a tee.
